Here's a chance to rediscover this vintage flowering plant. Originally from Central America, this plant will flourish indoors, in a room with plenty of light and just a little water. It will flower abundantly, making it a delightful gift for whoever receives it!

Instructions for care

How to care for an Epiphyllum?
  • Light: No direct sunlight, however, it needs plenty of light. When the plant is in bloom, it should be kept away from direct sunlight and any heat source.
  • Temperature: In summer, the ideal growing temperature is between 18° and 21°C (64° and 70°F). In winter, it should not drop below 10°C (50°F).
  • Watering: Water more frequently during flowering. It likes humidity and does not tolerate cold.
  • Repotting: It is not necessary to repot it every year, only when the pot is too large. In this case, it is advisable to do so after flowering.
  • Outdoors: Place outside from mid-May to the end of September; it does not tolerate drought. Summer outdoors is beneficial, and the cool nights of September encourage flowering in December.
