• Cut the tie around the roses
• Clean the stems, making sure to remove any foliage that would be in contact with the water
• Trim the stems to fit the bouquet to the size of the vase
• Fill the vase with fresh water
• Pour the packet of nutrients into the vase water
• Change the water and recut the rose stems every 2 days
