Instructions for care

How to care for and use your herbs?

  • General care tips
Place your herbs in a bright, sunny spot, ideally in a pot, on a balcony, terrace, windowsill or directly in the garden, depending on the variety.
Water regularly to keep the soil fresh, without overwatering. Soil that is too wet can weaken the plant and cause the leaves to fall.
To preserve them for longer, you can freeze your herbs in food bags or clean, airtight jam jars.

  • Peppermint
Fresh, fragrant and ready to enjoy, peppermint brings a refreshing touch to tabbouleh, salads, raw vegetables, sauces, drinks, confectionery and sorbets. It is also perfect for adding freshness to a homemade mojito.

    How to plant it:
Before planting, soak the root ball in water for about 5 minutes to hydrate it properly.

    Where to grow it:
Mint adapts very easily. You can grow it directly in the garden or in a pot on a balcony, terrace or windowsill. It enjoys bright locations and can adapt to different exposures.

    Plant size:
When healthy, mint can reach around 40 to 70 cm in height and up to 50 cm in width.

    How to use it:
Rinse the leaves thoroughly with clean water before use, then add them fresh to your recipes or drinks.

  • Flat-leaf parsley
Our 100% French flat-leaf parsley is the perfect ally for summer salads, omelettes, sauces, vegetables and homemade recipes. It adds a fresh, green and aromatic note to all your dishes.

    How to use it:
Fresh parsley keeps all its flavour and benefits. Finely chop it and preferably add it at the end of cooking to preserve its aromas.
Dried parsley can be used all year round to flavour your dishes. It can also be infused to prepare a fresh and aromatic drink.

How and when to plant it:
In the garden, plant it preferably in spring or autumn, in a partially shaded spot, with rich, fresh and light soil.
Before planting, gently loosen the roots, dig a hole suitable for the root ball, place the plant in the hole, cover with soil, press down gently, then water generously.

    In a pot:
Place your parsley in a bright location, with a few hours of sunlight per day, avoiding overly hot exposure in summer.
Water regularly to keep the soil fresh and slightly moist.

    How to care for it:
Remove yellowing leaves as they appear. Harvest the stems as needed by cutting them close to the base. With regular care, your parsley will continue to produce new shoots for several weeks.

  • Rosemary
Ready to enjoy, rosemary is perfect for flavouring grilled meats, potatoes, roasted vegetables, marinades, stews and Mediterranean recipes. Its powerful fragrance instantly adds character to your dishes.

    How to use it:
Fresh or dried, rosemary brings plenty of flavour. Use it in small quantities, as its taste is naturally intense.
It can also be infused to prepare a fragrant digestive drink.

How and when to plant it:
In the garden, plant it in spring or autumn, in a very sunny location. Rosemary enjoys light, dry and well-drained soil.
Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball, place the plant in it, fill with soil, press down lightly, then water after planting.

    In a pot:
Place it in a pot with drainage holes, using well-draining potting soil, then keep it in full sun.

    How to care for it:
Rosemary requires little maintenance. Water moderately, especially if it is grown in a pot, as it does not like excess water.
Prune lightly after flowering to maintain a nice shape and encourage new growth.
Harvest the sprigs as needed, all year round if the climate is mild.
