Here is our newest arrival of the season: a vibrant pink azalea! Very floriferous, this small shrub will offer you abundant and generous blooms for many weeks. It comes with a zinc cache-pot. For optimal longevity, your plant is intentionally shipped with closed buds so it can fully flourish once it reaches its recipient.

How to care for an azalea?

• Watering: water generously until water flows out of the drainage holes. Do not leave water in the saucer, as this can cause root asphyxiation and rot. Check the soil twice a week, as it can dry out quickly.
  
• Temperature: place the azalea in a cool, bright spot, away from heat sources and out of direct sunlight.
  
• Outdoors: move the plant outside in May, placing it in partial shade and sheltered from the wind. Apply fertilizer every 15 days and make sure the soil does not dry out.
  
• Before the first frost, bring the plant indoors to a cool place (6 to 12°C / 43 to 54°F) and water moderately until flower buds appear.
